Relevant food-safety, quality and market
certifications are a plus. Organic certification is
especially valuable when applicable to the
product and target market.
Clean & clear ingredients
Clear, consumer-friendly ingredient lists and
formulations appropriate for the intended U.S.
market. We value clean-label options when they
fit the product category.
Product value
Products should offer a clear reason to buy:
nutrition, convenience, origin, innovation, flavor or
another strong consumer benefit.
Traceability & origin
Being able to trace where the product comes
from and who grows or makes it. The origin story
matters as much as the product.
